TODD BODINE
No. 66 Blue Light Special Ford

Todd Bodine started second, allowing Haas Carter Motorsports and Kmart Racing to own the front row for the second time this season - first time in Chicago, where Bodine held the top starting spot. Bodine finished the day 17th, one lap down in the UAW-GM 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway this Sunday afternoon.

Bodine's Blue Light Special Ford was stout at the beginning of the 334 Lap event, leading 37 of the first 50 laps. A loose condition developed about 75 laps into the race and became increasingly worse with each additional lap was posted.

The crew worked to make adjustments to improve handling for their driver. Initially, each changed proved beneficial, but the Blue Light went from loose to tight and then back to loose as the day progressed and the track conditions changed. Bodine encountered an additional hurdle when, with 60 laps remaining, he lost a cylinder hindering the No. 66 car's performance.
